Let the games begin: Match your wit against ours

SportsBetsWHERE MORALES AND GIMINO DIFFER:

  • Morales thinks Stanford will cover the spread at home against WSU. Gimino believes the Cougars have it in them to keep the spread to only two touchdowns.
  • Morales believes UCLA will cover at home against San Diego State. Gimino looks for a more low-scoring game with the Bruins winning by 17.
  • The opposite is the case in the San Jose State-USC matchup. Morales looks for a low-scoring game with the teams not covering the over-under. Gimino looks for the Trojans to run it up against Dick Tomey’s Spartans.
  • Gimino says take the under in the LSU-Washington game whereas Morales likes the Tigers to overpower the Huskies in a game that will obliterate the over.

NOTE: If you want to offer picks in these Pac-10 games, do so in the comments section below and we will keep tabs of your season record as well to see how you match up with Morales and Gimino.

THE MOST INTERESTING TREND OF EACH GAME?:

  • Oregon vs. Boise State: The Ducks are 6-2 SU in their last eight road games.
  • Central Michigan vs. Arizona: Arizona is 9-1 ATS in its last 10 games at home.
  • WSU vs. Stanford: The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Stanford’s last 7 games when playing the Cougars.
  • San Jose State vs. USC: SJSU is 0-5 ATS in last five games; USC is 7-1 ATS in last eight games at home.
  • San Diego State vs. UCLA: The total has gone OVER in four of San Diego State’s last six games.
  • Maryland vs. Cal: California is 8-1 ATS in its last 9 games at home.
  • LSU vs. Washington: LSU is 3-5-1 ATS in its last 9 games on the road.

  4. vegasallen Says:

So I go 6-0 against the spread today. If anyone is interested or cares, I didn’t bet a single game this weekend.

  5. Javier M. Says:

Outstanding vegasallen, 6-0 runs in betting are like no-hitters in baseball, they don’t come around very often. I went 4-3. Just an FYI, I received a complaint from a school official about running gambling information on a site devoted to UA athletics. I understood his point. So starting next week we will just be doing straight-up picks of Pac-10 games and Top 25 games. Hopefully, more people will become involved. On a side note, I have to say our game coverage tonight rivaled anybody’s out there. We’re the little engine that could right now. Hopefully you all will help us gain some steam.

  6. Javier M. Says:

In terms of game coverage … I am talking about when the game was being played. Look for The Arizona Daily Star to have comprehensive coverage tomorrow. Anthony will be updating later as well with quotes and opinion, etc.
