Reading the wildaboutazcats.com and tucsoncitizen.com Red-Blue Game summary and then listening to the post-scrimmage audio involving Horne, Judkins and Jacobson, struck me.

Moved, transported to the moment by what the words, line after line, were telling me, I got the feeling for how these guys played in many different, gamelike situations, yes, for sure.

But my goodness one thing stood out like nothing else.

And this is a clear tribute to the judgment of character possessed by Olson and Miller because these are their players after all.

These ‘Cats enjoy – genuinely like – being around each other, helping each other, doing what it takes, together, to get it done the right way.

I don’t mind telling you, I sat here thinking about how much I love these guys.

They just compliment each other so well.

I hope the 12 team members stay intact, learning and growing and making progress all year through, eventually giving old man Wise a proper send off, one he deserves for so, so many reasons.

It’s just so nice – I’ll use a Bejarano term – to see and hear the way these guys conduct themselves and pull for each other.

And here I thought all along that I knew, was absolutely sure how chemistry was spelled.

    Today I learned it’s spelled R-E-D and B-L-U-E.

Can anyone shed any light on who these three younger in-state prospects – Larry Lewis, Torren Jones and Maurice Kirby – are?

According to the Star, they were at the scrimmage with McCallum.

Does anyone know if Wednesday’s game will be televised?
