Predictions anyone? New Orleans 34, Indy 31

Pretty much the same mentality here but lets make it:
New Orleans: 38
Indy: 34
I hope Mike Bell gets some action…

I’ve been thinking Saints but my logical mind now says Colts. I’ll also go against public thinking and go under the total of 57.
Colts 37-19.

No point prediction but I think the Saints will have a substantial lead going into the 4th. Peyton Manning will lead a furious comeback to tie and send it into overtime for the first time ever in a Super Bowl. Saints win by a field goal.

Game like this, hard to make the over….I would bet 3 units on the under, and 1 unit on the Colts.
If I gambled.

At the moment, vegasallen has an outside chance of hitting his prediction…solely based on Indy’s dominance in the fourth quarter. The over under is looking good for under
Still, one of the better halftime shows I’ve seen in a few years.

Congrats to the Saints. The onside kick was huge and they made the big plays when it counted.

It’s nice to see something good happen for the state of Louisiana. Congrats to the Saints and Drew Brees for a great game.
I still find it a little tough to believe that they pulled it off but that onside kick really flipped things.

I don’t know why but whenever I think about the Saints I think about the mural of Mike Dawson sacking Archie Manning that was painted outside his bar.

Just saw on TV that Anthony Marnell’s M Resort and Casino in Las Vegas made eight figures at its sportsbook off tonight’s game. That’s right — eight figures — at least $10,000,000, which is amazing. Marnell played baseball at the UA in the early 1990s when I covered that team. Marnell owns the M Resort, a plush new casino in Las Vegas that is worth a visit. I spoke to Marnell this week and am working on a story that will be published in TucsonCitizen.com shortly.

Would’ve much rather seen Favre, or better yet Warner, end his career with a win over Manning & his Colts, but this will have to do. Brees – the first Texan QB to bag a Super Bowl…How about Foles becoming the first Texan QB to claim the top prize in bowling college style: The Rose?
Reading of Bell’s experiences in Denver, I wonder if Stoops clips this kind of thing and tapes it to locker of all ‘Cat RBs? The only thing fumbling is good for is NO-thing. Carry the pigskin around campus, sleep with the doggon’ thing but whatever you do – DON’T DROP IT! Mike, the pride of Tolleson High and a ‘Cat to the core, got lucky and ended up a champ in ‘Norlens…Others, I’m sure, haven’t been so fortunate. Great stuff, Jay.

Ah, Andres…You just gave me a flashback…Michael A. Dawson: A man who could play the game of football like very few could. This DT could shed ‘em, wrap ‘em up and take’em down right-quick.
I remember as youngsters us walking with the players back to McKale from Wildcat Stadium and the pride of THS gladly accommodating us with not only his signature to a program but also his arm pads to boot. That this guy isn’t in the Wildcat Stadium Ring of Fame or UA Hall of Fame, unless I’m mistaken, is a crime against decency.
May God rest Big Mike’s soul and bless the Dawson family.
Man it’s a long way from the Saints of Archibald, though, isn’t it? And an even longer way from the ‘Aint’s of the recent past. Peyton being from the Big Easy I’m sure isn’t too bumbed tonight.
Now that that’s all out of the way, how about that not so tiny matter of Bush, Carroll, USC and the “law and order” NCAA?
