gjfimbres has posted a nice five(ish) minute montage of UA shots against Stanford – set to the sounds of Boogie Down Productions.

Really good video editing work. Family safe title…;-)

Has there been any new news on Jordin Mayes? On the telecast for the Cal game, Steve Lavin said that we only had one player committed for next year and that DB was a sharp shooter. I guess Jordin isn’t counted because he has only given a verbal so far and not signed a LOI. But just wondering how his season ended or any other news on the potential future wildcat.

Lavin said we only have one player signed, not commited. I was still surprised thats how he put it and didnt mention Jordin

Thanks for the love Ashton. It’s nice to know my hard work is appreciated.

In case you guys haven’t seen this yet, Zagsblog is reporting that Jack is leaning toward Arizona: http://www.zagsblog.com/2010/03/03/arizona-leading-for-kadeem-jack/#more-29555

Hope this proves to be true!

    MassCat-

Read it and agree, could be another Williams. I think Jones can handle the point, if anything I beleive Lamb would be another great pick up over Selby.

  8. Portland Catfan #2 Says:

The more I look at the elite teams this year the more I start to think Lamb would be a better get. Nearly all the elite teams have a big SG that causes opposing teams fits. Shooting over someone 6’4/5 is much more difficult than shooting over a 6’2 player, especially in the era of unrefined scorers. This is the main reason why opposing guards have had field days against Fogg and Wise. They are just too short to handle good scorers. They shoot right over the top of them. If you’re 6’5 and you get caught in a screen you can still get a long arm up to affect the shot but if you’re 5’10 forget it…just hope they miss. Mostly this year they haven’t.

  9. Flagcat Says:

    Portland-don’t forget about DB, he’s 6’5″.

  10. Portland Catfan #2 Says:

Yeah DB crossed my mind…but I was thinking strength in numbers. Never know who’s going to bail to the NBA or another program.
